Vedic Centre "Grah Pravesh" & Ved Saptah 2009

The Vedic Trust of New Zealand proudly announces the "Grah Pravesh" ceremony of its newly constructed NZ$2million purpose-built community hall, "The Vedic Centre" situated at 32 Glasgow Avenue, Papatoetoe, Auckland. The hall can accomodate upto 500 people, has modern facilities with ample parking. This is indeed a very historic moment as it is the first project undertaken by the Arya Samaj community in NZ.

The "Grah Pravesh" will be held on Saturday 3rd October 2009 starting at 5pm. Programme includes "Jhanda Bandan" ceremony. People wishing to participate in the "Jhanda Bandhan" ceremony can contact Shri Narendra Kumar on 09-525 6408. Dinner will be provided after the ceremony.

The "Grah Pravesh" will be followed by a week long Ved Prachaar starting 4th October by Acharya Ved Prakash "Shrotriya" Ji of New Delhi, India. The Ved Prachaar is organised by the Arya Pratinidhi Sabha of NZ and is sponsored by the Auckland Arya Samaj.

The Prachaar will be from Sunday 4th October until Saturday 10th October. The programme will start daily at 06:45pm and finish at 09:15pm. Dinner will be provided each day.

Venue for "Grah Pravesh" and the Ved Prachaar 09 will be The Vedic Centre, 32 Glasgow Avenue, Papatoetoe.
